The Care Team is made up of the necessary and important services, support and family. It is a strength-based therapeutic approach focused on the needs of the foster child. The carer is seen as the main agent of change in the child’s life and professionals and others involved work together with each other and the carer.
Within Key Assets, the Foster Support Worker is the key to holding the puzzle together and ensuring everyone in the puzzle connects, understands their strengths and roles, and works together for the best interests of the child.
