Abhirami Sellathurai

Abhirami graduated from the University of Waterloo with a major in Psychology and a minor in Social Developmental Studies. Additionally, she holds a post-graduate diploma in Child and Youth Care from Humber College. Since September 2018, Abhirami has been working as a Child and Youth Worker with Key Assets. Currently, she serves as a Foster Support Worker, where she finds joy in helping young people achieve their goals and surpass their own expectations. She takes pride in witnessing foster families develop long-lasting and meaningful relationships with the young individuals in their care. Abhirami is a firm believer in continuous learning and finds inspiration from both the foster families she works with and the young people she supports. In her free time, she enjoys reading and painting.
