I have an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Work from Sheridan College and have been in the field for 8 years supporting children and youth who are coping with social, emotional, mental and behavioural challenges ages 1-12. I enjoy being a CYC because I can provide therapeutic guidance, love and support for children and their families. What keeps me motivated is being committed to advocacy and supporting each child as well as their families accomplish the best of their abilities through their growth and development. Consequently, aiding them in discovering their full potential. I love my role because I can continue to be a part of many lives that are constantly changing and have the privilege to support unique individuals in such a vulnerable and vital stage in their life.
