Cynthia Gonzales

I’ve completed my child and youth worker diploma with George Brown, I then completed my Child and Youth Care (BA) at Ryerson University. I’ve been with Key Assets for 6 years in various roles from student intern to relief staff to full time CYC. In my time with Key Assets I’ve developed relationships with many families, foster and biological as well as so many of the youth we serve. I’m also a big ally for the LGBTQIA+ community and have spent time developing and teaching a training for various groups internationally.

I love my role because it involved a lot of fun interactions and developing connections with so many different types of people. I love interacting with the young children as they are often the most care free. I also enjoy planning and attending various events.
